Austin Roberts Chair of Mammalogy

Professor Nigel C Bennett holds the prestigious Austin Roberts Chair of Mammalogy which resides in the Mammal Research Institute with the explicit purpose of investigating the mammal fauna of Africa. The vision of the Chair is to conduct high quality research and train quality postdoctoral, doctoral and Masters students in the field of small mammal biology with particular reference to physiology, ecophysiology, behavioural ecology and molecular ecology.
